Midwest of Cannon Falls first introduced its porcelain hinged boxes, also known as PHBs, in 1994. Porcelain hinged boxes were originally developed in the 18th century in the Limoges region of France and were designed to hold perfume, and snuff . Midwests boxes contain little hidden surprises in many of them. What you decide to put in them is up to you. Be creative.
